REMOTE TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTION

Remote Control Transmitter programming guide for Chevy Tahoe 2000-2006 models.
No tools required.

Important notes

Obtain all remote transmitters for this vehicle. This procedure will erase all previously programmed remotes.

You must program all existing and new remotes that you wish to use on the vehicle at this time.

You must close all doors and the rear liftgate/trunk in order for this programming procedure to work.

Step-by-Step procedure

1. Enter the vehicle and close all doors.

2. Insert the key into the Ignition Switch.

3. Press and hold the Power Unlock button on driver’s side door panel; Do not release it until instructed to do so in step 8.

4. Turn the ignition to the ON position, marked “II” on the Ignition Switch (without cranking).

5. Turn the ignition to the OFF position, marked “0” on the Ignition Switch.

6. Turn the ignition to the ON position, marked “II” on the Ignition Switch (without cranking).

7. Turn the ignition to the OFF position, marked “0” on the Ignition Switch.

8. Release the power unlock button on the door panel; The vehicle will lock and unlock the doors automatically to confirm remote programing mode.

9. Hold down the lock and unlock buttons on the remote transmitter simultaneously until the door locks and unlocks.

10. Repeat the previous step for each additional car transmitter (including any existing remote transmitters).

11. Turn the ignition to the on position, marked “II” on the ignition in order to exit the remote control transmitter programming mode.
