Audi BCM2 Smart Keys are with Comfort Access (Keyless/Kessy) and without Comfort Access version. Keys with Keyless support can be recognized by an additional LF-Coil at PCB of the key or by PN. The list of Audi models with PN of OEM keys can be found here.
Operating frequency: 315MHz, 434MHz or 868MHz (depending of the country). Keyless LF Wake-up frequency: 21kHz.
Transponder type: PCF7945AC (7945AC2319, 7945AC0902, 7945AC1415, 7945AC0911, 7945AC1500, 7945AC1411, 7945ATJ807).
Transponder type of Audi BCM2 Keys is PCF7945AC. There are many programmers on the market with PCF79xx MCU support. With the help of it, you can perform read and write MCU data; So, renewing of the keys also. Some of such tools (e.g. Barracuda, RemUnlocker) renew the keys in automatic mode. Others (e.g. PCFprog) require to have virgin files for renew used keys.
For programming / renew used Audi BCM2 Keys you must remember about correctly file selection for PCB, PN and frequency. If you programm MCU with wrong file, you can damage the key or key will work not properly. In most cases, Audi BCM2 Key programmed with the wrong file, can be re-programmed to restore for correct operation.
