HONDA PILOT - REMOTE CONTROL PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTION
REMOTE KEY FOB - KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING GUIDE FOR HONDA PILOT
THESE INSTRUCTION ARE SUITABLE FOR 2003-2014 MODELS
NO TOOLS REQUIRED.
|* You must close all doors and the rear liftgate/trunk in order for this programming procedure to work.|
|* Each of the following steps must be completed within five seconds of one another.|
If you take longer than five seconds between steps or make a mistake, you must start the entire procedure over.
|1. Enter the vehicle and CLOSE ALL DOORS.|
|2. Insert the key into the Ignition.|
I recommend HOLD one remote in your left hand with additional remotes close by.
|3.Turn the Ignition to the ON position, marked “II” on the Ignition.|
The lights on the accessories should come on and the dash will light up.
|4. Within 4 seconds press the LOCK or UNLOCK button on the remote transmitter for approximately 1 second|
|5. Within 4 seconds turn the Ignition to the OFF position, marked “0” on the Ignition.|
|6. Repeat steep 3, 4 and 5 three times and turn the Ignition to the ON position, marked “II” on the Ignition.|
System should now lock and unlock vehicle to indicate remote programming mode activated
|7. Press the LOCK or UNLOCK button on EACH remote you want to program within 9 seconds.|
Make sure door locks cycle after you push each remote button to confirm system has accepted the remote.
You may program up to three remotes to your vehicle.
|8. Turn the ignition to OFF and pull out the key from ignition switch to exit programming mode|
|9. Test remote ( s )|

|4. Ignition ON / press button's on each remotes|

* These instructions will only program a keyless entry remote.
If you have the Honda Pilot remote with key ( combo ), these instructions will only program the remote portion of the fob.
You will still need to get the transponder key programmed to start your vehicle.
